Spikes are a great feeder to add awesome variety to your animals diet. Fish love maggots and so do Reptiles. They are a suitable low cost feeder that can be given to your insectivores.
Blue Bottle Fly Spikes are about 1/4″-1/2″
You can feed them in the larva state that they come in or wait and let them pupate and they make a great treat for chameleons to eat in the cage.
When you receive them you MUST keep them refrigerated so they don’t turn into flies. Refrigerate between 33 to 39 degrees and they will keep for weeks.
